If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of Associate Director, CPD, you will manage a small team of four which includes supporting, organizing, motivating, coaching and evaluating staff to accomplish the operational priorities of the unit. You will also develop and monitor budgets and work plans.

You will oversee policies and business requirements for all CPD accreditation processes. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and application of CPD accreditation standards, as well as providing leadership and coaching of accredited CPD providers. You will lead by demonstrating strategic thinking, promoting an environment that is engaging, collegial, results-oriented, and collaborative. You will develop plans, assign and monitor work, set benchmark goals and evaluate outcomes to ensure the quality and delivery of products and services as well as client satisfaction.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Business or related field or related experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience in adult education, program management or accreditation
  • Minimum three years demonstrated management experience in directly leading and coaching a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver group presentations, facilitate and chair meetings
  • Demonstrated aptitude to collaborate and influence a variety of constituents to adopt new practices and behaviors through different means and interactions with management and external stakeholders
  • Experience in developing and monitoring budgets
  • Solid planning and analytical skills
  • Strong creativity in order to design new programs and services and formulate novel approaches to solving unique, complex problems
  • French is a strong asset
